Creative Ecology is a partnership project between arts schools and cultural players in Southern England and Northern France, including the arts school ESADHaR with campuses in Le Havre and Rouen. Together we are aiming to stimulate the growth of the creative and cultural industries in the South and East England Coastal region and Par-de-Calais, Normandy and Brittany regions.

Creative Ecology est un projet de partenariat entre les écoles d’art et les acteurs culturels du Sud de l’Angleterre et du Nord de la France, y compris l’école d’art ESADHaR, qui compte des campus au Havre et à Rouen. Ensemble, nous visons à stimuler la croissance des secteurs créatifs et culturels de la région côtière du Sud et de l’Est de l’Angleterre et des régions Pas-de-Calais, Normandie et Bretagne.

Interreg IVA France (Channel) 

The European cross-border programme Interreg IVA France (Channel) - England covers a wide geographical area reaching from Cornwall to Norfolk in England, and from “Finistère” to “Pas-de-Calais” in France.

These territories share a common maritime border: the Channel. Therefore, the Interreg IVA France (Channel) - England programme aims to encourage - between the French and English parties - the emergence of: 

• an area of common citizenship
• a shared identity for the area of cooperation
• a sense of belonging to a cross-border area.

With a financial budget of 161 million Euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the programme currently funds nearly 150
co-operation projects between France and England, which involve some 550 different organisations on both sides of the Channel.

These projects deal with a wide range of cooperation topics that are supported by the programme: economic development, environment, culture, tourism, social inclusion, but also maritime cooperation.

Projects receive an ERDF grant of a maximum of 50% of the total project budget. As regards the micro-project procedure – available only to private organisations such as charities and/or SMEs - the funding rate can reach up to 75%.

This programme is managed by the Région Haute-Normandie.

Interreg IV A France (Manche)

Le programme européen de coopération transfrontalière Interreg IV A France (Manche) – Angleterre couvre un vaste territoire qui s’étend des Cornouailles au Norfolk côté anglais, et du Finistère au Pas-de-Calais côté français.

Ces territoires partagent une frontière maritime commune : la Manche. Le programme Interreg IV A France (Manche) – Angleterre vise par conséquent à favoriser en son sein l’émergence :

• d’un espace de citoyenneté commun

• d’une identité propre à l’espace de coopération

• d’un sentiment d’appartenance à un espace transfrontalier

Avec une enveloppe de 161 millions d’euros du Fonds Européen de Développement Régional (FEDER), le programme soutient à ce jour près de 150 projets de coopération entre la France et l’Angleterre, qui réunissent quelque 550 organismes différents de part et d’autre de la Manche.

Ces projets s’articulent autour d’un vaste panel de thématiques de coopération privilégiées par le programme : développement économique, environnement, culture, tourisme, insertion sociale, ou encore coopération maritime.

Ils bénéficient d’une subvention FEDER à hauteur de 50 % maximum du budget du projet. Dans le cadre du dispositif des microprojets, réservé aux associations et/ou aux PME, ce financement peut atteindre 75 %.

Ce programme est piloté par la Région Haute-Normandie.
