ICR Road Movie

This film investigates the impact and value created through interregional art projects in the UK and France. What is that 'creative ecology' which emerged from these collaborations? We aimed to capture the energy and uniqueness of several Interreg projects to stimulate reflection on the space that these projects create and provoke a question whether we want to hold and sustain that space. 

The different projects featured in this film are examples of just such collaborations that draw new paths on the cross-border cultural map of Europe. In doing so we hope to achieve a key ICR Interreg project focus, which allowed for the possibility to look beyond the more narrower frame of this particular project. The ICR project states: "creating a rich cross-border creative ecology of these stakeholders (creative practitioners and animators) through collaborative actions". Uwe Derksen and Rafau Sieraczek

Ce filme étudie l'impact et la valeur créés par des projets artistiques inter-regionaux en Grande-Bretagne et en France. Quelle est cette 'écologie créative' née de ces collaborations? Nous avons cherché à capturer l'énergie et la singularité de plusieurs projets Interreg afin de générer une réflexion sur l'espace créé par ces projets et se demander si nous voulions maintenir et respecter cet espace. 

Les différents projets présentés dans ce film sont des examples de ces collaborations qui tracent de nouvelles voies sur la carte culturelle transfrontalière de l'Europe. A travers cela, nous espérons atteindre l'objectif clé du projet ICR Interreg, ce qui nous a permis de sortir du cadre initial de ce projet. Le projet ICR déclare: "créer une écologie créative transfrontalière de ces acteurs (artistes et intermittents) par l'intermédiaire de ces actions collaboratives". Uwe Derksen et Rafau Sieraczek
