KCC
Kent County Council (KCC) has demonstrated its commitment to the creative sector through a number of highly visible investments, including Turner Contemporary in Margate. The County Council is now working to underpin this investment through a series of interventions, funded and delivered in partnership with others.
The framework for partnership working is provided by Unlocking Kent’s Cultural Potential: A Cultural Strategy for Kent 2010 – 2015, produced by KCC on behalf of government agencies, key cultural organisations and cultural leaders. Working together, it is their intention to:
- Grow the creative economy by being welcoming and cooperative hosts to the creative workforce
- Protect Kent’s existing strengths by being passionate and responsible stewards of Kent’s built and natural environment
- Increase Kent’s potential by being ambitious and resourceful cultural planners
ICR supports the delivery of these intentions via a network of partners and supporters, from the local community to the international community brought together by Interreg.

Le County Council œuvre désormais pour étayer cet investissement à travers une série d’interventions, financées et organisées en partenariat avec d’autres organismes.
Le cadre de travail du partenariat est assuré par Unlocking Kent’s Cultural Potential : A Cultural Strategy for Kent 2010 – 2015, produit par KCC pour le compte d’agences gouvernementales, d'organisations culturelles prépondérantes et de chefs de file culturels. En collaboration, leur intention est la suivante :
- Développer l’économie créative en étant des hôtes accueillants et coopératifs de la main d’œuvre créative
- Protéger les points forts du Kent en étant des coordinateurs passionnés et responsables de l’environnement naturel et bâti du Kent
- Augmenter le potentiel du Kent en étant des planificateurs culturels ambitieux et plein de ressource
CR soutient l’organisation de ces intentions par le biais d’un réseau de partenaires et de supporters, de la communauté locale à la communauté internationale, réuni par Interreg.
